Huquq Dig

Sunday Nov. 29th, Jocelyn Burney did a fabulous presentation on her archeological digs in the north of Israel. Folks were thrilled with her presentation and asked about her coming back. And she will! Early in the new year we will be looking at dates for her return visit in the late spring. And for the folks who had asked about her contact information. Fall Food Drive

food-drive-2Our annual Fall Food Drive is underway and continues through our Pack and Sort Day,November 21.
All non-perishable food is welcome, but there has been a special request for tuna, canned fruit and soup this year.  Other much needed items include: spaghetti sauce; pasta; powdered milk; pork and beans; cereal; Pop tarts; macaroni and cheese; peanut butter and jelly; tea bags; coffee; and canned vegetables.  Look for the insert and shopping list in Sunday‘s bulletin.

Saturday, November 21 at 9:30 a.m.  – Pack and Sort Day

Saturday, November 28 at 8:30 a.m.  – Transport boxes to StarFish Food Pantry

IMAGINE at Faith

ImagineYouth and Adult Forum, Sunday, November 15th – “Coping with Grief”, 9:40am in Franklin Nelson Hall

Connie Palmer from Imagine, our new partner in ministry, joins us with a program that shares new understandings of how we cope with grief.

IMAGINE – iREMEMBER EVENT – Thursday, November 19 at 6:30 p.m. 

Children’s Grief Awareness Day is Thursday, November 19 and this year Faith will be hosting an evening of hospitality and hope with our new ministry partner, Imagine, a center for coping with loss.

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. and includes a community wide art project and memorial service followed by food and refreshments in Franklin Nelson Hall.
