This summer we are once again collecting new backpacks filled with school supplies for children in our area. Our shopping list is a bit different this year and includes: a toothbrush and toothpaste; one pack of pens; one pack of no. 2 pencils; one composition notebook; one box of 24 ct. crayons; one package of construction paper; one pair of safety scissors; one glue stick; one ruler; one small pencil sharpener. If you prefer, you can donate $40 and we will buy and fill a backpack for you. The backpacks will be on display in the chancel until they are delivered in time for school. Please drop off or mail your donation by Sunday, August 21.
