All Are Welcome

Visitors are welcome and invited to share in all that we have. Join us for worship where we practice an open communion table where all are welcome.

Explore who we are, what we are about, and what we do. While you are here take time to speak with one of the Pastors, Church Council member, or First Impressions representative who are on hand at the door before and after each service.

Faith is a special place, a church home for members who travel as far south as the Jersey shore and west into Pennsylvania to be part of this very special faith community. We are an open, welcome, and inclusive community.

Worship and The Eucharist.

We worship in person on Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Our service is live-streamed every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. on Faith’s Facebook page (Faith Lutheran, New Providence) and our YouTube channel.

Our Sanctuary Choir provides regular leadership and Holy Communion is celebrated at each of our liturgies. Throughout the church year, Festival Liturgies enrich our worship life with special music, instrumentalists, soloists, and choirs.

Worship assistants are integral to our ministry with members of all ages serving in a variety of roles, including those who are more visible as Assisting Ministers, Lectors, Ushers, Acolytes, and Crucifers, as well as behind the scenes on one of our Altar Guild or Counter teams.

Worship is the most important thing that we do. It is here that we come together as one, as God’s people in community, as the Family of Faith. Dominating our worship space, the cross is a constant reminder of God’s grace in our lives.

In Word and Sacrament, the Family of Faith is touched by God’s goodness and challenged by God’s call to live as a servant people.

It is as a sign of God’s grace that our Family of Faith practices an open communion table where everyone is welcome to join us for God’s meal. All baptized Christians who believe as we do, that in the real presence we encounter God’s forgiveness, God’s grace, God’s gift of eternal life, are invited to join us at God’s table.

We offer education opportunities on Sunday mornings for ages 3 thru adult at 8:45 a.m. in Sunday School, Youth and Adult Forum programs.
