Rally Day, Sunday September 9 Events and Programs

Our yearlong theme – “Rooted in Faith”

“Continue to live your lives in Christ, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught.” ~ Colossians 2:6-7
We return to our regular worship schedule with liturgies at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m., and education hour at 9:40 for ages 3 thru adult. Our Sanctuary Choir will help lead our liturgies.

To kick off our program year, adults will gather in Franklin Nelson Hall during our Forum Hour at 9:40 a.m. for a time of fellowship and hands-on activities, as we celebrate “God’s Work, Our Hands” Sunday with congregations across the country, reminded of who we are as part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Family Picnic.
Join us on Rally Day as we gather for a potluck picnic after the 11:00 a.m. service in the area behind the church. Bring your favorite dishes to share with the Family of Faith. We will provide lemonade and iced tea, but feel free to bring anything else you and yours would like to drink. We will have ice buckets on hand, but you might want to bring your own cooler. Leftovers go home with you at the end of the day. Children of all ages are welcome! We will have games and activities to keep everyone busy. Always a good time to invite friends, neighbors and family for this time of fellowship and to reconnect with one another. Use this link to sign up
